The Workplace of Infotech (OIT) sent out a term start e-mail to all University trainers in December. The e-mail laid out OHIO’s most powerful computing tools, technology changes, and access to educational resources.

Operating System (OS) updates for Windows and Mac

Chalkboard combinations
Chalkboard combination updates occurred between Dec. 14-16, for Lumen, Macmillan, McGraw Hill, Pearson, Proctortrack and Rising Software. Integrations from Cirrus by Paradigm, Evolve, Hypothesis and Ximera were retired throughout this time based upon low usage.

Fixing your Wi-Fi connection

In addition to the normal innovation services, all OIT-supported class will be supplied with dry erase markers and chalk.
Each space has a clear plastic bin including 2 black dry remove markers and a box of chalk. OIT will renew the supplies during routine room checks.

Class hardware training
Learning Spaces will supply hands-on class hardware training on the Athens campus for instructors the week before spring classes start.
Sessions will cover the following class types: little and medium (1-98 seats), big (99+ seats), Irvine 194/199, and Schoonover 450.
