After 19 years of public service with the City of Albuquerque, the director of the Department of Technology and Development (DTI), Brian Osterloh, will retire at the end of March.
“I have had the advantage to deal with many terrific groups at the City and in our community who made ideas into truths and have actually set brand-new expectations for development in Albuquerque,” said Brian Osterloh, Director of Technology and Innovation. “I value the support from the Keller administration that has allowed us to bring new approaches to our services. As I move on to what’s next, I will reflect on our efforts keeping in mind the enthusiasm that made many advancements and milestones possible.
Osterloh has led DTI through the development and structure of the City’s 311 Community Contact Center, the launch of the Albuquerque Smart Cities initiatives, the development of the City’s very first Broadband Office, and numerous technological advancements at the Albuquerque Police Department and the Real Time Criminal Offense Center.
During the next 3 months, Osterloh will prepare the department for the transition of leadership, concentrating on making sure a smooth transfer of internal support and security operations, in addition to of civil services
