Earlier this month, TokenMe, a Dutch-based firm, got the Innovation Award for wearable technology at the Consumer Electronics Program in Las Vegas. The company’s product provides building supervisors a real-time crowd- and asset-tracking solution through low-power, location-aware radio and RFID (radio-frequency recognition) tags and several sensing units through which information are processed with cloud-based artificial intelligence.
